Opening Day

Well just got back from the Secretary of State with my lovely father. It was not nearly as bad an experience as dad had warned me it was going to be. I decided it would be a grand idea to fall asleep on the ride over there. I then proceeded to sleep through the 30 minute visit. I did slightly hear an older lady tell my dad that I was adorable in my striped Mommy's All-Star outfit and Detroit Tigers cap. I gotta admit it never gets old hearing people tell me how cute I am. So as I awoke from my most excellent nap daddy told me that I was wearing my Tigers cap because today is Opening day. Opening day for what was my first question. He went on to tell me that this is a day that hope springs eternal. He went on to explain that today over one hundred thousand Americans will flood into ballparks all across this great country of ours. As they walk into the stadium every true fan thinks "This is the year!!!" To me that sounds just wonderful. So before I go eat some lunch I leave you with this pearl of baby advice. "Live every day like it is opening day. Because you never know what a little positive thinking can do for you." Go Tigers!!!!!!
